In diesem Jahr war die NAHBS wieder an der Westküste und so hatten die vielen Custom Rahmen Hersteller einen kurzen Weg nach Sacramento. Auch Steve Potts war wieder dabei, der nebst einem 29er Ti-Rahmen eines Kunden noch die neuen Vorbaus und Lenker zeigte. Das Steve tatsächlich eine lebende Legende ist, zeigt nicht nur das Zitat eines Mitbewerbers:
I met Steve Potts picking it up too, which was totally totally rad. I can’t say that I didn’t feel uneasy about such a master and creator holding my frame in his hands. Got a bit of a lesson and some tips too. He invited me to go up and visit his shop in the near future.
…sondern auch die Tatsache, dass Steve zusammen mit Kent Eriksen den Best Titanium Construction Award gewann. Herzliche Gratulation!

The show was great! So fun, and Steve was very happy with the award. How’s it feel to own one of the best titanium frames out there? That was a win for all of us Potts owners! I can’t wait to ride the bike now.
